Why
we exist…
We
can give you a long explanation of trying to get
proof of life after death, why do some people
refuse to leave and cross over, etc. We also
do it for the rush of capturing something on any
of the equipment we use and not have a natural
explanation. Those oh
so rare times, waiting for hours, doing many
investigations for just a few seconds of
experiencing something that we cant
explain.
We are all seeking that validation, the
proof that will allow us to believe without a
doubt that there is not only life after death
but that we can come back or that maybe we never
leave…To consider that we may have the
opportunity to come back and scare the hell out
of people…
how
we were brought together…
We
all met while being members of a former
group.
Though being with the other group didn’t
work out for us becoming great friends did. We
created a circle of friends, a circle of trust,
understanding, the ability to tell one another
the other is wrong, argue together, laugh
together, and sometimes even cry together. We also
shared an understanding of what each wanted out
of a team and so we got together and shared
thoughts, ideas, and debated over different
decisions and the more we talked the more we
knew this was it.
For
those of you ghost hunters that are reading this
you know there is nothing more important that
the trust you have in your team mate. The more
we talked and shared ideas the more we knew that
this was good. We
started to build the foundation of the group; we
didn’t have a name yet, ideas, not one we voted
on, but we knew what we wanted to accomplish for
the team.

How
we run an investigation…
Our
typical investigation soon starts after the
potential client contacts us. A phone
interview is done to evaluate the
situation.
Information is collected on location,
contacts, history, events and more. At this
point a preinvestigation is set up. On a
preinvestigation we send 2-3 investigators to
interview the clients, look things over, take
base readings, and photographs. We then
evaluate the data from the preinvestigation and
determine if a full investigation is
warranted.
When we decide an investigation is needed
we will get together with the client and set a
date.
This is when the research is started on
the history of the property and local area. We
arrive on the day that was scheduled with all of
the equipment we have decided is necessary to
conduct a complete investigation. It takes
about 30 minutes to set everything up, but this
may vary with the different layouts and types of
equipment used.
On
an investigation we take numerous photographs,
video, measure DC fields, radiation,
temperature, humidity and more.
Typically an investigation runs about 4
hours.
During that time we will collect over 16
hours worth of video, many photographs, various
EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) sessions, and
data logs from the equipment. All of
this is reviewed very thoroughly, sometimes this
means having to review it twice by more than one
investigator.
Reviewing the data is very time consuming
and may take 2-3 weeks since the investigators
only have a portion of their day to devote to
this outside of their full-time
responsibilities. With the
information all at hand, and the research
completed a report is put together and given to
the clients and posted on the
website. | | |
