As
far back as I can remember, possibly 2 or 3 years old, I would
sit fascinated listening to the stories that my Grandmother
would tell us. Tales from Italy where her and/or my
Grandfather and school friends would play in a cave near their
school and the strange things that they would see or hear. She
would giggle and I could almost hear how she must have sounded
back all those years ago. The stories continued to when her
and my Grandfather married and lived in their first home in
Colorado, which they eventually had to leave, never to go back
because of the strange happenings they experienced, evil
things according to my Grandmother. The fear would
return and show in her eyes as she told us the way the stove
grates would sound as if they were being picked up and slammed
down, cabinets opening and closing and the worst of all;
waking to an image of figures standing around her bed holding
candles and chanting for her to leave, to get out of the
house. We were fortunate over the years that my
Grandmother never tired of telling them to us, always the same
they never changed, and that we were always a captive
audience. I can recall the stories in my mind and hear
her tell them to me as if it were yesterday.
Needless to say for me this started
my need to absorb as much knowledge as I could about
everything and anything paranormal . I have to admit I
still do not know if my Grandmother imagined or really had
these experiences but as long as there is that possibility of
finding and experiencing for myself paranormal activity I will
continue to search...
